SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENT
The high level gap analysis consists of brainstorming sessions with knowledgeable managers, that identify environmental and social aspects within the company, at its vendors and at customers. We quickly zero in on those aspects that provide the greatest environmental, social, and financial benefits. The assessments can typically be completed in one half-day session for each of the environmental and/or social assessments. When necessary, we may dig deeper to define the specific scale and scope of the problem.
The sustainability business plan defines a vision, mission, objectives, strategies, and key action plans. We utilize a powerful internet-based planning process, the "The One Page Green Plan™," that quickly creates a company road map for moving forward. A sustainability plan can also be created at each of level of the organization, e.g. divisions, factories, and other facilities. All supporting plans are aligned to the Company sustainability plan, and progress can be tracked via online scorecards and progress reports.

There can be numerous ways to address a particular environmental issue. We facilitate brainstorming session(s) attended by internal staff and external experts to identify potential solutions and reach agreement on the best approach for your company.
IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT
Sustainability Leadership Coaching
We work with the sustainability leader and their team to identify and overcome roadblocks in implementing their sustainability plans. We provide personal business coaching to help the leader with issues related to being an effective sustainability leader.
We use personal assessment tools that identify the leader’s personal motivators, communications style, strengths and weaknesses. Once these have been identified, we can work with the leader to enhance their leadership skills, and help them to assemble a “green team” with complementary characteristics to support him.
We will stay with you during the initial stages and for as long as you need in order to help you overcome roadblocks that get in the way of successful project implementation. We are your partners in helping you to successfully execute plans.
Your new sustainability/ green team is likely to come from a variety of different functional areas, with different perspectives and objectives. The strength of the team can come from its diversity, but it may be difficult for them to work together effectively. We provide team building support to improve the teams ability to communicate well and work effectively towards shared goals.
Change within any organization can be difficult, and can lead to resistance from individuals who might perceive their position in the organization to be threatened by the change. We provide change management support to help the leader and his team successfully implement initiatives that may stretch the existing corporate culture.
It may be important to share your sustainability efforts with stakeholders such as clients, vendors, and investors. We can prepare a Corporate Sustainability Report for posting on your website or for distributing to interested parties.
Your company may not have all the required expertise internally to fully implement the project. We will bring in our associates as required for implementation, or help you to identify external resources as necessary.
